These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of "AI Manga Studio" (the "Service"), operated by PROSPER ONE Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our"), a company based in Japan. This English version applies to users outside Japan; users resident in Japan are governed by the Japanese-language Terms.
1.1 By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.2 You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is an AI image-generation tool and is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
1.3 If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2.1 The Service lets users generate manga-style images and text using artificial intelligence, and organize, edit, and export the results.
2.2 Some features require a paid subscription. Free-plan works are stored in the cloud for 14 days and then deleted; paid-plan works are stored for the duration of the subscription.

3.2 No pro-rated refund is given for the unused portion of a billing period after you cancel.
3.3 Nature of AI output
The Service generates output using AI. AI output is inherently probabilistic and non-deterministic: identical prompts may produce different results, and requested content, characters, composition, or text may not appear as intended. You acknowledge and accept this. Dissatisfaction with the aesthetic quality, content, or fidelity of generated output, or the fact that output did not meet your expectations, is not a valid basis for a refund. Retrying or additional generation is performed by you within the quota and fees of your plan.
3.4 Refunds. Except as stated in this Section or as required by applicable mandatory law, fees are non-refundable. We will, however, honor refunds for duplicate charges, clear billing errors, charges for a service that was not delivered, and confirmed fraudulent charges. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at info@ai-manga-s.com before disputing the charge so we can resolve it quickly.
3.5 Chargebacks. Statutory rights to dispute a charge with your card issuer are not affected by these Terms. However, fraudulent or abusive chargebacks (for example, disputing charges for a service you used, in bad faith) may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4.1 Certain plans let you connect your own third-party API keys ("BYOK"). You are solely responsible for all charges billed by those third-party providers to your key, and for keeping your key confidential.
4.2 We take commercially reasonable measures to protect API keys you store with us, but we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we are not responsible for loss, cost, or provider charges arising from your own use, misconfiguration, sharing, or leakage of your keys.
4.3 When using BYOK, you must comply with the terms and usage policies of the relevant third-party AI provider. We may disable or restrict any integration that creates abuse, safety, security, or policy risk.
You may not use the Service to create, upload, or distribute:
5.6 We use automated and manual safety controls, but we do not guarantee they will detect or block every violation. Prohibited content remains prohibited even if a generation technically succeeds. You are solely responsible for the prompts you submit and the outputs you obtain, use, or publish.
5.7 Safety enforcement. We may review, remove, restrict, or refuse content; suspend or terminate accounts; and, where we deem appropriate or are legally required, preserve evidence and report suspected child exploitation or non-consensual sexual content to law enforcement or relevant authorities (including NCMEC where applicable).
6.1 As between you and us, and to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, you own the images and text you generate with the Service, subject to your compliance with these Terms.
6.2 AI copyright caveat. Copyright law in many countries (including the United States) may not grant copyright protection to material generated by AI without sufficient human authorship. We make no representation that your generated output is protectable by copyright, registrable, or exclusively yours.
6.3 No uniqueness. The Service is used by many users. Similar or identical prompts may produce similar or identical output for other users. We do not guarantee that your output is unique, and grant you no exclusivity over it.
6.4 You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. How we handle your data — including prompts and generated content — is described in our Privacy Policy (Section 15).
6.5 You are responsible for ensuring your prompts and outputs do not infringe third-party rights (see 5.3), and you bear the sole cost of resolving any such claim.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at info@ai-manga-s.com with: identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement. We will review and remove infringing material in appropriate cases, and may terminate repeat infringers. (This is a good-faith takedown process; it is not a formal U.S. DMCA designated-agent registration.)
8.1 Price changes. We may change our fees, including increases. For subscription price increases, we will give you advance notice by email or an in-app notice, together with the effective date and how to cancel. The new price applies only to billing periods beginning on or after the effective date. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect (Section 3.1); if you do not cancel, the new price applies to your next renewal.
8.2 We may add, change, or discontinue features, generation quotas, the underlying AI models used, or other elements of any plan, based on improvement, cost changes, or other reasonable grounds. We will try to give advance notice of material changes.
8.3 We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) for maintenance, force majeure, network failure, or other reasons. We will give notice where reasonably practicable.
THE SERVICE AND ALL GENERATED OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR AVAILABILITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data.
10.2 Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) JPY 10,000.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in prohibited content or fraudulent/abusive chargebacks. Sections that by their nature should survive (3.2–3.5, 6.2–6.5, 9, 10, 11, 13) survive termination.
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
13.2 The Yokohama District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice by email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Non-material changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how long we keep it, whether prompts and generated content may be processed or reviewed to operate and improve the Service, the third-party providers we share data with, cross-border transfer to Japan, and our posture on minors. Please read it.
